Sam is hiking to Ernst Tinaja. A tinaja is a natural water tank. This one is formed by an occasional waterfall, and can be as deep as 20 feet. Animals sometimes fall in and drown because the sides are steep. We didn't manage to take any pictures of the actual tinaja.
