Snowfall in the Big Bend

We had a wonderful day on Friday playing in the snow. The kids loved it, we loved it. The only thing we could have done without would have been the fog that settled in as the sun set. It was thick, like a coastal fog, and nearly impossible to drive in. We went and played with the other kids too, but my pictures aren't too spectacular as Sam kept taking the camera. He's got his own artistic style. Here's a video of the kids playing in the snow with Eric.

  1. Cole ready enjoyed this video. Cole thought that Sammy should throw the snow ball at his Daddy. He got a kick when the snow ball hit Sammy. How much snow do you get? Looks like Awyn really wanted gloves.

  2. Awyn kept pulling the socks off her hands - she doesn't have any gloves. She wore a pair of my tiny stretchable gloves, until she got them wet in a puddle. We only got about an inch, but that's darn near a record here, and it lasted all day when it usually melts off by 10 am.
