This was our other guide, Marcos. He demonstrated some of the more difficult things in a canoe - just in case we went the wrong way down the rock slide. His canoe always seemed move effortlessly. Marcos and Michael made me feel comfortable and competent, even though it's been probably 20 years since I was in a canoe, and that was on a placid little lake.
