Portcullis
Yes, the drawbridge can be raised, and a portcullis drops down, adding even more security for the troops stationed inside. The moat goes around the fort and the little defensive battery at the point.
Alligator!
This poor guy wasn't feeling all that well according to staff members. Then a visiting yahoo decided to wrestle him and picked him up by his tail. The park first ejected the offending visitor and then had wildlife rescue come and relocate the gator.

Happy Kansas Day!
Eric and the kids wanted a Sunflower cake so I decorated one. Awyn is waiting to pounce on it.

Museum of Aviation on Kansas Day
On Kansas Day we went to the Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB in Warner-Robins.
"This is what Sky Captain flies"
Sam liked this model, and pointed out that it was what the hero in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow flew.
