Ranger Mama

Sam and Awyn call me Ranger Mama when I have the uniform on. Here I am at Persimmon Gap, just outside the visitor center. I have no idea why the ocotillo has leaves on it. It's been incredibly dry, and they need water to leaf out. They drop their leaves when it's dry. This one is also blooming, which makes for a pretty picture.

I favor the skirt for working inside a visitor center.

  1. I'm going to miss the chance to bring Mike to see the park in bloom - I love the ocatillas. Maybe that one is blooming for you just to wave. 8)
