Our New House

As you will no doubt be able to tell, I'm excited about our new house. After a day of driving 100+ miles of house hunting, there was really only one choice. We liked the mini-McMansion, but it was overpriced for being so close to Walmart and lacking a garage, and also slightly above our preferred price range. We liked the house near the school, and that it was 4 bedrooms and newly remodeled, but thought it would be too much of a shock to be quite so 'in town' after our years of quiet desert living.

This house sits on a lot that is nearly 2 acres, and is out in the country. There is only 1 neighbor on one side; the other three are part of a ranch. It's fully fenced. 3 beds, 2 baths, and slightly less than 1400 square feet. The only downside is that it will be a commute in to town of about 14-16 miles every day for Eric, and for Sam to go to school if I choose to enroll him in the Sulphur school. There's also a school slightly closer in Wynnewood, and I've heard Stratford mentioned as a possibility too. There is a 'bonus' room in the dormer on the second story.
