This was the big present for Christmas for both kids. Awyn and Sam both love it, but Awyn gets very possessive when it comes to letting anyone else touch her kitchen. She's getting better as time goes by, and she relaxes her guard. Sometimes they can even cook at the same time. She does spend much time putting her kitties in the oven and microwave though, and that's a hair disturbing.
I had a similar experience with Finn and her kitchen. I believe the conversation went like this: "Mommy, ding ding ding, your bears are ready" as she pulled them out of the microwave. Funny yet scary all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAwyn did have a fit when Sam wanted to store his 'Superman' chain in her oven; nevermind that we bought it for both of them. He'll run in and cook up Kermit the Frog from time to time, but usually he's more into imaginary food.
