I canoed through Santa Elena Canyon last Friday and Saturday. It was an amazing experience, I felt like I was grinning from ear to ear the entire time. Surreal at times, stunning, and something I'd love to repeat. If I were offered the chance to go again, I'd jump on it. This, to me, topped even the sublime view from atop the South Rim in the Chisos.
