I finally embroidered our names onto our stockings - when I originally made these stockings we used felt stickers, and Awyn was still named #2.

Eric says that Santa prefers beer and plain sugar cookies, so that's what we left.

Sam vacuums after his bath (notice he's still wearing his new shirt, even as pajamas) so that we can make a proper mess when we open presents in the morning.

Yes, Sam and Awyn were allowed to open one present each on Christmas Eve - they love the shirts Aunt Debbie and Uncle Chad sent them. Sam will only let us peel it off of him to wash it, and that is still a bit of a fight.

Dance 'recital'

I'm sorry about the poor quality of these pictures. It's definitely one of the few weaknesses of our digital camera. Inside pictures do not always come out well, especially in the school gymnasium from a distance.

Awyn joins in...

Awyn is so jealous of Sam's dance class that she had to join in on one of the dances they did. Sam apparently can do a very nice somersault. (no flopping, he tucks and rolls and controls his body all the way through) Awyn tries, but she just flops, so I'm not encouraging it yet. Maybe next year she can join the dance class.
